Monsignor Michael F. Hull, S.T.D., is Pastor of the Church of the Guardian Angel. He is also a Professor of Sacred Scripture at St. Joseph’s Seminary (Dunwoodie) in Yonkers, N.Y., and a Censor Librorumof the Archdiocese of New York. Ordained a priest of the Archdiocese in 1993, Monsignor Hull has served as a parish priest, professor, seminary dean and rector, and pastor before coming to Guardian Angel in 2009.
He earned his doctorate in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome). He is a member of the Catholic Biblical Association, the Catholic Theological Society of America, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the American Academy of Religion. He is author of Baptism on the Account of the Dead (1 Cor 15:29): An Act of Faith in the Resurrection. His articles have appeared in The Dunwoodie Review, Homiletic and Pastoral Review, Ecumenical Trends, The Priest and the Seminary Journal.
Reverend Philip S. Phan, has been in residence at Guardian Angel for over ten years. Father Phan, born in Vietnam, was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of New York in 1983. He has served as a parochial vicar in a number of parishes in the Bronx and Manhattan. Currently, Father Phan is the Director of the Archdiocese's Vietnamese Apostolate.
